Stuart Little

I finished reading "Stuart Little" by E.B. White to Isaac and Levi tonight. The boys have loved this book, although I think we were all slightly disappointed at the lack of closure at the end. Whatever happens to Stuart's long lost bird friend Margalo? Does Stuart make his way home after his long journey northward? This book definitely needed a sequel. But as it is, it will remain a much loved book by our family. We look forward to reading more stories by E.B. White such as "Charlotte's Web" and "Trumpet of the Swan". My boys were lulled to sleep tonight recounting the adventures of Stuart Little in audio form from the library. And tomorrow, we begin "The Mouse and the Motorcycle". Here's hoping for a more complete rodent story from the mind of Beverly Cleary.
